It makes perfect rice everytime that tastes the same even 2 days later in the fridge. It takes about an hour to make rice but I like how I can set the timer on it to make it later.
I'll make 3 cups of rice before work and set it to start making rice an hour before I get off. Great feature.

I believe this is the only Zojirushi rice cooker still comes with retractable cord. The rest are mostly removable cord or fixed.
Brand recognition, quality of product, and quality of functionality.
